We travel to the source so every sip carries a story.
From Farm to Cup — A Relentless Pursuit of the Perfect Bean
Every year, our head roaster travels to origin — the sun-dried terraces of Yirgacheffe in Ethiopia, the misty hillside farms of Huila in Colombia, and the volcanic highlands of Antigua in Guatemala. We cup hundreds of lots before selecting the few that make it into our roastery.
We trade directly with small family farms — not brokers, not middlemen. Long-term relationships built on fair prices, honest feedback, and a shared obsession with quality. When a producer thrives, so does the coffee in your cup.
Back in Melbourne, we roast in micro-lots, adjusting every profile to the season's harvest. No fixed blends, no stale warehouse stock — just fresh, expressive coffee that tastes exactly like where it came from.
