The valley has no mobile reception and no wifi. Leave the phone in the glovebox, bring a book, and let the evenings run long. A landline at the farmhouse is there for emergencies.
We run the retreat the way we would want to find the valley in fifty years.
A 48 kW array and battery bank run every dwelling.
Everything is composted and returns to the garden.
Organic produce from our own paddocks and neighbours.
Remaining emissions offset through local native replanting.
