Every fruit here does something

We buy whole fruit from the market on Tuesday and press it from Wednesday. Nothing is reconstituted from concentrate and nothing is sweetened beyond what the fruit brings.

  • CeleryThe base of most green drinks. Salty, low in sugar, and it carries the other vegetables rather than tasting of them.
  • CucumberWater, not sugar. It gives a green juice its length and stops it tasting like a salad.
  • GingerHeat at the front of the drink and a clean finish. We use a thumb-sized piece, no more.
  • LemonBrightens a heavy root drink and keeps the colour of pressed carrot alive.
  • KaleThe greenest thing on the board. Mild enough that you taste the apple first, then the kale.
  • AppleOur sweetener. Firm, tart and pressed with the skin on for the fibre.
  • StrawberrySweetness that reads as fruit rather than syrup, and the colour that stains the cup.

Order and choose

Pick from the board or the app. Choose a size, and say if you want anything left out. We write the drink on the ticket in front of you.

We press it

Slow press, no heat, pulp and all. The green juice takes longer than the citrus, so those go first and you can watch it through the window.

We seal and label

Sealed, dated and labelled with the ingredients and the time it was pressed. It goes into the fridge, not on a shelf.

You collect it

Collect from the window on the corner. Tell us your name and we will hand it over cold.

Only while the fruit lasts

Two drinks on the board until the end of the month. Blood orange from the Wagga stall, ruby grapefruit from Coffs Harbour.

When the fruit goes, the drink goes with it.

What the regulars say

I can actually taste the ginger in the Green Reset. That is not what I get anywhere else near work.

Mara T., account manager, regular since 2019
4.6 average across 318 reviews

The Green Reset is the only thing that gets me through a 4pm slump without a second coffee.

We started with one press and a Saturday market stall.

Finn Aldridge, founder

I asked for no apple in the beetroot one and they pressed a fresh one without it. No fuss.

Questions we get asked

What is in the juices?
Every drink lists its full ingredient list on the board, with the fruit and vegetables used and the base. Sweeteners are never added. If a drink needs sweetness it comes from fruit, such as apple, pear or strawberry.
How much does a juice cost?
Small 350ml is $6.50, regular 450ml is $8.50 and large 600ml is $10.50. A bundle of five regular drinks costs $34, which is 20 percent less than buying them one at a time.
Do you do takeaway orders?
Yes. Order through the form on this page or call the counter on 07 5520 1844. Orders are pressed when you arrive and held for 20 minutes at the pickup point on George Street.
Are there low sugar options?
Yes. The Green Reset, Citrus Kick and Winter Root are all under 25 grams of sugar per serve, and every line on the board shows the sugar content so you can choose without asking.
What are the seasonal drinks?
Two drinks are on the board for the season: Blood Orange, pressed from Wagga oranges, and Ruby Grapefruit from Coffs Harbour. Both come off the board when the fruit runs out.
Can I change a drink if I do not like it?
Yes. If a drink is not right, tell us before you leave and we will press another one at no charge. If you have a nut allergy, say so at the counter, as the peanut butter blend is pressed on the same bench.
