CanvasLoom atelier

Made for the
Long Run

Started With a Simple Question

CanvasLoom started in 2019 when our founder, Lena Morris, stood in front of a full wardrobe and realised she had nothing to wear. Not because she owned too little, but because she owned too much of the wrong things. Thirty fast-fashion items, worn twice each, and none of them felt right.

She spent six months visiting textile mills in France and Belgium, factories in Portugal, and speaking to the people who actually make clothes. What she found was a gap: beautiful craft, fair pay, and traceable materials all existed. They just were not being offered together at a price people could say yes to.

CanvasLoom is her answer to that gap. Every piece starts with a single question: would you still want to be wearing this in ten years? If yes, we make it.

"The best wardrobe is a smaller one. We exist to help you build it."

Our Values

Honest Pricing

We publish our full cost breakdown for every product. You see exactly what you pay for: materials, labour, logistics, and our margin. Nothing is hidden.

Radical Transparency

Every garment carries a tag linking to the specific mill and factory that made it. You can trace the thread from field to finished item.

Fair Wages Always

Every factory partner pays at least 2.2x the local living wage. We audit annually, publish the results, and walk away from any partnership that falls short.

Designed to Last

We design for repairability, not obsolescence. Every item comes with a care guide and lifetime repair service, free of charge for the original owner.

Less Impact, More Intention

The fashion industry is one of the world's most polluting. We accept our role in that and work every day to shrink it. Our targets are not marketing language. They are audited, published, and tied to our supply contracts.
