Canvas gives designers and developers the freedom to build precisely the site they envision, using a highly flexible component-based architecture. With dozens of header styles, slider options, and page layouts, each project can be tailored without writing a single line of custom code. The mobile menu system lets teams craft navigation experiences that feel native on every device, from compact phones to large tablets. Responsive breakpoints respond predictably to every screen dimension, so layouts remain sharp and readable. Dedicated mobile primary menus can diverge entirely from the desktop navigation structure, giving content editors granular control over what mobile visitors see. Canvas supports unlimited color schemes, Google Fonts integration, and dynamic shortcode blocks out of the box. The result is a template that adapts to any brand identity quickly.
Canvas is built for flexibility without complexity. The alternate mobile menu feature lets teams deliver a clean, simplified navigation on phones while preserving the full mega menu experience on desktop.
The alternate mobile menu is configured by adding a second ul.menu-container with the class mobile-primary-menu inside the primary navigation element. Canvas automatically detects this secondary list and renders it exclusively on mobile breakpoints. This approach keeps the main menu clean and condensed for handheld users while preserving the full multi-level mega menu for desktop visitors. No JavaScript configuration is required.
To enable this feature, place a standard list of top-level links inside the mobile-primary-menu container. These links replace the complex nested structure shown in the desktop navigation. Mobile visitors get a fast, tap-friendly list rather than an overwhelming multilevel dropdown. The desktop menu remains unchanged, ensuring that the full feature set stays accessible to users on larger screens.
